How to Screenshot TradingView Charts for AI Analysis (Step-by-Step Guide)

TradingView and MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) are the world's most popular charting platforms. By combining your preferred charting setup with specialized AI vision technology, you can instantly validate your trade ideas and calculate optimal stop-loss coordinates without installing third-party plugins.

Step 1: Capturing the Optimal Chart Screenshot with Alt + S

For an AI computer vision engine to accurately read candle coordinates and price axes, follow these best practices when capturing your chart:

  • Use the TradingView Shortcut: Press Alt + S (Windows) or Option + S (Mac) to quickly grab a clean snapshot.
  • Include the Price Axis (Right Side): The model uses the numerical price labels on the vertical axis to calibrate absolute dollar/pip values for entry and stop-loss levels.
  • Show At Least 30–50 Candlesticks: Sufficient candle history allows the AI to establish recent swing highs, swing lows, and prevailing trend momentum.
  • Use High-Contrast Themes: Standard Dark Mode or Clean Light Mode candlestick themes (Green/Red or Cyan/Pink) provide optimal contrast for sub-pixel wick extraction.

Step 2: Uploading to the AI Terminal

Once your screenshot is captured:

  1. Navigate to our dedicated TradingView Chart Analyzer.
  2. Select your active market class: Forex, Crypto, or Stock.
  3. Drag and drop the screenshot image into the scanner zone.

Step 3: Interpreting the 3-Strategy Output

Within seconds, the computer vision engine outputs a structured strategy breakdown containing:

  • Limit Entry Order: The optimal price coordinate to execute your limit buy or sell order.
  • Structural Stop-Loss: The price invalidation coordinate, positioned with an ATR volatility buffer.
  • First & Second Profit Targets: Tiered take-profit objectives calculated using Fibonacci expansions and liquidity pools.
  • Price Action Analysis: A readable breakdown of observed support/resistance zones, order blocks, and trend vectors.
